Cartoon Jam

I did the "make yourself into a japanese-like doll" thing from Heidi's blog, but I can't post it on here because blogger hates me. It's on MSN though, so enjoy the cartoony goodness that is me.

I'll do a real post eventually. Too lazy to do so now, so ha to you.

Ha.

Reach Up For The Sunrise

Well howdy!

Life's hilarious. I haven't been posting because I've been really down about my confusing mess of a life and what to do in the coming year. I was thinking about applying for a job with Scotiabank in Vancouver, about moving elsewhere in Hamilton, Toronto, or the rest of the area, amongst other ideas.

Today, I'm resting on the couch when I get a call from my mom. She says "Ready?", and I'm like oh god, she bought another dog, she's moving, she got a sex change, oh god. "I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to attend Memorial University for the fall term 2006." What? "What?" My mom received my acceptance package to Memorial in St. John's. I, James McDonald, former drop-out of Brock, received early acceptance to one of the biggest schools in the country! Like, wha, oh my god!

I called my aunt, called friends, rearranged my room because I had so much energy (hahaha yeah, I'm weird.. but it looks better this way!), and have come to a conclusion: I'm going. If I can afford it, I'm just doing it. Life is good here, but it can be gooder. I love my job, I love the people, but it's a stage in my life I am willing to leave behind to further my life and my own well-being.

Life's amazing, and this experience makes me glad I'm a philosophy major, because I can question how on earth when I was at my lowest that life knew to throw me an amazing opportunity.

Incredible.

Mute

Hello, you foxy fox, you!

I'm so sleepy, so this may not make much sense. I'm waiting for my laundry to finish, so, with a lack of anything better to do, I write on this doo-hickey.

Who came up with the word "doo-hickey"? Someone who never played Boggle, no doubt!

So I've been having all these crazy good ideas for stories and stuff that I have to try to get down on paper (computer) very soon. I want to get moving on some real writing that I can submit to some goober so he can get it published, but I really lack motivation. I'm going to try to get more sleep at night and kind of put unnecessary things on hold so I have time and effort to write.

Unnecessary things includes most boys, television (in excess.. Survivor can't be missed), and dealing with stupids. Hopefully this will allow me to become organized, but I doubt it. Baaaahaha, oh man.

Visited Leon in Toronto this weekend. Same ol' story with him: boy meets boy, boy flirts with boy, boy confuses boy, boy oh boy. Not sure what else to say about that, really. I did, however, enjoy Toronto this time around. I didn't see much of the city at all, but I'm thinking in the near future, I may want to go to Toronto for, well, living. Might be a good change, as long as I can afford it. We shall see.

I hear nothing, therefore my laundry has stopped o-so-spinning!

Nothing

Yo, dawgs. Woof.

I have nothing to report. I'm still sick, boo-urns. I'm going to Toronto this weekend to hang with Leon and possibly Steph.

Life's boring.

Someone come clean my room.

That is all.

Blahrific

I feel so restless. I don't wanna go to bed, yet I really have to in order to go to work tomorrow.

Why do I feel like this? *ponders*

I'm hungry for pasta salad.

PS - Online poker is fun. I'm getting better!

Diddly Dum

Howdy!

So I spent over fourteen hours playing PS2 this weekend! I was sick all weekend, so I went out, bought Radiata Stories and I absolutely love it! It's so detailed and is on such a large scale compared to other games; really a jewel amongst the coal we see in gaming today, that shoots and wars and drives its way into homes across the globe.

I think we need to see the return of the RPG. I don't care if shooters are still brought out, but there is a large demographic in the gaming population that really has no time for such ideas. I am in this group, along with a lot of people I know. It almost makes me want to go into game design or story writing. *there's a thought?*

Anyways, other than that, I have no news. My cold is almost completely subsided after an entire bottle of Benilyn All-in-One. I hope I didn't make Sarah or Shannon sick when I went out with them Friday! We saw Munich, which was good, but not Oscar good. It was very controversial, but not the type of movie that I would want to say won Best Picture by any means, so I really hope it doesn't win. Eric Bana was pretty in it, though. Then again, he's always pretty in.. anything. Probably in nothing as well. It also starred the guy who played Nino in Amélie! If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you need to see Amélie. You should probably skip sleep tonight to do that.

Well, nothing more to report. So.. bye!

Some People Want It All

Hey peeps!

So I haven't done a big update in quite a long time! The movies just took over, but I had so much fun looking into all of them and making my selections. I hope that one day I get to publish a list like that, because.. well, I wanna! LOL Booyah!

So as for me, I'm gonna do a random points post. I loved Liz's the other day, and I haven't done one in a while. So, sumbitted for the approval of the midnight society, I call this story "Me So Random", or something less lame.

-I watched American Idol tonight for the second time this season, and I actually think I can sing. Afterwards, I sang aloud because no one was home for a good twenty minutes.

-I'm catching a cold. This will be the first chest/head cold I've had in literally years, even though I take sick days lol.

-My room is so disgusting. It's a mess and if I were to walk into this room and it was someone else's, I'd be thoroughly grossed out. However, since it's mine, I don't care as much.

-I lost my navy blue tie. Where would it have gone? How doth one lose a tie?

-I love words like "doth", "thou", and "thine".

-I bought a cactus from Fortinos because it looked lonely. I pet it and it hurts.

-I got hit on at the bank today by a gorgeous man. I can't do anything about it, so I sulk.

-I'm sick of men I know. I'm meeting new ones and that's final.

-I'm going out, permitted that I'm not sick, this weekend with girls from work for drinks! I love that I made friends at work. Who would have thought that would happen? Oh, and, they're like older than me by ten years or so, but I don't care because they're fun and they like me lol.

-No one ever updates their blogs on a regular basis anymore. Leon needs to get a blog because he's already a blogaholic as it is.

-I recently hit on an ex, but I'm not really sure why.

-Part of the above comment is a lie.

-I get paid at midnight tonight. I almost feel like running out at 12:01 and buying a big something because I haven't bought anything with my own money in forever. I miss money.

-Drama in the house these past few weeks. Kinda sick of it.

-Loretta's wedding went well. I might do another post, but incase I don't: I did well as the MC, it was still a weird but good wedding, and I looked so hot.

-I love my ego and my egotism more than I love yours.

-I wish I could dress as casual as the women at work are allowed to dress. Sexism isn't fair. If I wore a sweater like some of the women do, or tank tops that are supposed to be somehow dressy, then I'd be fired or severly punished. My goal in life is to somehow change that.

-My goals change all the time. Whatever.

-People I don't see often have put on weight and it's weird seeing them again. It makes me feel good, and I feel bad about feeling good.

-I listen to "Hung Up" on loop a lot of the time. I also wish I was Madonna a lot of the time.

-I'd rather just have Madonna's money than be her. I like my manness.

-Where did the Summers peeps go? I haven't talked to any of them in a while. I miss you guys!

-Some girl told Jen that Brokeback Mountain was bad. I told her it was good. I'm always right. Case closed. Anyone who doesn't like that movie is either homophobic, doesn't get slow-moving films or metaphors or symbolism or great acting and plot, or is a jerk.

-I'm not going to go to school this fall. I need more time, and I wish everyone would let me have it.

-I want that guy who hit on me today. If he comes in again, what should I do? Is there anything I can do? Am I asking the right questions? Who am I asking them to?

Alright that's enough. WHEW! That was a lot of randomness! I'm spent.
